1. Service Purpose

Mecopying.in is a fast, lightweight text and code sharing utility allowing users to create, view, share, edit, and delete text snippets and notes.

2. Acceptable Use & Forbidden Content

You agree NOT to use Mecopying.in to store or distribute:

• Malicious code, exploit payloads, viruses, ransomware, or malware loaders.
• Stolen credentials, API keys, private keys, or leaked confidential databases.
• Phishing kits or deceptive scam redirects.
• Harassing, defamatory, or hateful content.
• Content violating copyright or intellectual property rights.

3. Anonymous Snippet Creation & Password Security

Mecopying allows anonymous snippet creation without requiring an account. Users may optionally assign a custom URL slug and a private deletion password during creation. We store only salted cryptographic hashes (bcrypt) of deletion passwords; lost passwords cannot be recovered. Snippets with set expiration intervals automatically expire based on server-side retention rules.

4. Abuse Moderation & Contact

We reserve the right to remove any snippet that violates this policy immediately without notice. Anyone can report abuse via the built-in “Report content” flag button on any snippet page or by emailing us directly at srishanthreddyy05@gmail.com.
